We are SUPER busy the first weekend of June attending 3 different events where we will be selling our amazingly addictive pickles to the masses.
If you are in northern Oklahoma, we will be attending the Ponca City Herb Fest which is set in the Lester and Mary Cann Memorial Gardens – a 10-acre showcase of color, texture, fragrance and landscape architectural beauty. The Herb Festival fits quaintly alongside the lamp post-lined brick sidewalk that meanders throughout the park and features more than 100 vendors from Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Colorado and Arkansas that bring their plants, primitive birdhouses, yard and garden ornaments, quilts, herbal vinegars and oils, handmade baskets, candles, soaps, furniture, stoneware and much more.

If you are close to the south side of Oklahoma City; the Fort Thunder Harley Davidson dealership in Moore will be having a pre-party and motorcycle rally Friday and Saturday that will feature bands, vendors, food, and a Poker Run to benefit the Downed Bikers Association.

And finally; we will be once again attending the Edmond Farmers Market sponsored by the City of Edmond located just west of Downtown on Broadway in the Market Pavilion. The market has fresh locally grown produce, flowers, and other Made in Oklahoma products in a quaint market that is easy to navigate and park. I personally go every week just to get real farm fresh eggs that taste better than any I have ever bought at a grocery store and the produce is amazing.

We look forward to seeing you soon and don't forget you can always get your pickle fix Mon-Fri from 10-6 or Saturday from 11-5 at our 10th street Downtown location west of I-235 next to the railroad tracks in Automobile Alley.
The Annual Edmond Oklahoma Farmers Market is on for the Summer 2013 season.
If you have not been able to check it out on a Saturday or Wednesday morning, you should take a few minutes and stop on by for Made in Oklahoma food products, veggies, and crafts.
Edmond does a great job of running this small market and is very strict on letting in ONLY Oklahoma grown and made products as to promote local economy and Eco-friendly practices.
Parking is always free and easy to obtain nearby and Red Hot Mammas Pickles is proud to be a part of the 2013 season along with our very good friends at Mingo's Pepper butter. We will be at the Saturday Market from 8AM to 1PM every Saturday from May 11- June 29 so come by and get your Edmond Pickle and pepper butter fix with us!

We had a lot of fun and met so many amazing people last weekend at this annual event in North Oklahoma City. This was a three day biker rally held at the Thunder Roadhouse Cafe where the sounds of roaring Harley exhaust and local bands filled the spring air and hundreds of motorcycles gleamed in the Oklahoma sun.
There were quite a few vendors in attendance presenting their products that included; custom leather riding gear, jewelry, festival food, and of course Red Hot Mammas Pickles...
We also are proud to announce a new T-shirt design specifically geared towards the motorcycle enthusiast. The picture on the left of this article showcases the artwork and we will have them available from now on at our store in downtown Oklahoma City. We have regular tee shirts for $25, sleeveless for $20, and tank tops for $18. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to purchase one online and we can ship it to you for an extra $5.
We would like to thank all of our loyal pickle peeps for coming out to see us at William-Sonoma last Saturday. This was the first event that the wildly popular culinary supply store held in Oklahoma City's Penn Square Mall to promote local products in a farmers market-like atmosphere and we were honored to be chosen to attend.
We offered samples of the pickles and of course they sold like crazy once people got a bite of the addictively sweet spicy Cajun kosher dill.
Check out a few pictures of the event in the slideshow below and make sure to follow us on Facebook at:

We were honored to be a part of the first OU Medicine Winter market across from the Devon Tower and sponsored by the Myriad Gardens.
Winter markets have been a popular event in Europe for many years and the idea is that local businesses have an opportunity to bring their wears together in a festival atmosphere so that people can shop for holiday items and enjoy the winter weather strolling from tent to tent sipping on hot chocolate while taking in the sights and sounds of the season.
This years Winter Market featured a handful of vendors selling vintage items, handmade crafts, and gifts for all ages. We were there with our pickles AND our antique store in 2 booths that faced Sheridan. The Friday weather was chilly, yet not windy, and we had a lot of traffic from Devon and downtown employees followed by some people checking us out before the evening's Thunder basket ball game down the street at the arena. Saturday was overcast and just chilly enough to get people in the holiday state of mind while locals came by to see Santa, skate in the Myriad Gardens ice rink, and take in the sites downtown. A strong cold front moved through on Sunday that brought with it winds that got wilder as the day went on, but people still showed up to take a quick stroll through the tents and we stayed warm until we packed up that evening and said good night to another successful event.
We of course took pictures and they are available in the slideshow below. We hope to join the Winter Market next year and are looking forward to a successful continuation of our first year in business thanks to loyal support from people like you. Thanks again to all of the people that braved the weather to come and say hello and we will post soon where we will be for our next event.
We are preparing for a busy gift basket season this year and have purchased a few special Thanksgiving containers that will make your host smile when you walk in the door. I just love homemade pies but I don't have the time to make any, and my family does not drink wine so I will be bringing them a turkey basket hostess gift of Red Hot Mammas Pickles.
They are great for a before Dinner snack that won't ruin your celebration meal and make a great neutral conversation starter as well because let's face it; a Red Hot Mamma is always welcome in the conversation. Let us create a basket or small gift for you starting at $13.99 for one jar in a precious turkey carrier. They are going fast so let us know what you need!
